HathiTrust Provides a Sneak Peek of Some of the Titles Entering the Public in January 2025

In January 2025, HathiTrust will once again celebrate Public Domain Day.  This coming year, titles published in 1929 will enter the public domain in the United States, including more than 76,720 items in the HathiTrust collection. Some of these will also be viewable worldwide. Global readers will also gain public domain access to 60,380 titles.

The much-anticipated list includes A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway, Middletown: A Study in Contemporary American Culture by Robert S. Lynd and Helen Merrell Lynd, A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf, and Vidas cruzadas by Spanish playwright, Jacinto Benavente.
