New Online: Report of the Bologna Meeting on Open Research Information
From a Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information Announcement:
The report
captures key outcomes from the event held on May 28, 2025, in the context of the 5th Workshop on Open Citations and Open Scholarly Metadata (WOOC2025). It highlights progress, priorities, and next steps across the Barcelona Declaration’s working groups.
Nearly 200 participants from 35 countries joined us (both in the room and online) to reflect on implementation efforts, explore future directions, and continue shaping the shared roadmap of the Barcelona Declaration.
The Report of the Bologna Meeting on Open Research Information includes:
- Implementation journeys from three signatories working in diverse institutional and national contexts
- Summaries of the working group breakout sessions, where signatories, supporters, and interested participants presented plans, exchanged feedback, and identified priorities
- Reflections on governance, collaboration, and global engagement that will guide the next phase of the Barcelona Declaration.
