Climate Change: COAR, Creative Commons, EIFL Along with Regional, National, and Institutional Partners Officially Launch “Paper Pledge for the Planet”
From the Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR):
The Paper Pledge is a global collaboration of hundreds of institutions working together to make climate change literature openly available.
There are over 3500 climate change articles that have been published in the last 5 years that are closed access, but can be made openly available.
On 22 October 2024, COAR, EIFL, and our regional, national, and institutional partners – in collaboration with the Open Climate Campaign – will launch a global effort to make this critical knowledge available to the world.
