From DOAJ News:
DOAJ is pleased to announce that it will be receiving €70,000 EUR [approx. $76,400/USD] in funding from the French National Fund for Open Science. The decision to allocate the funds was taken by the Steering Committee for Open Science who recognized the strategic role that DOAJ plays in promoting and vetting high-quality open access journals.
The support forms part of the implementation of the “Second French Plan for Open Science“. It is intended to support DOAJ infrastructure and to reinforce work already initiated in partnership with other French actors, such as a project to help French journals become indexed in DOAJ with the journal platform Mir@bel2022.
