EndNote Adds Retraction Watch Notification Integration, Similar Service Available For Zotero and Papers

We appreciate services that integrate useful data where it can be especially valuable.

Today, we learn that EndNote will now show notifications of retracted papers using the Retraction Watch database directly into a users collection of bibliographic citations.

Retraction notifications in a reference management database is not a new concept. It has been available for Zotero users for a couple of years. You can learn more about Zotero’s use of the Retraction Watch database here.

Finally, Papers, a reference management tool from Digital Science announced Retraction Watch integration in September.
