University of Missouri Libraries Will Not Renew Journal Package Agreements with Elsevier, Oxford, Springer, and Wiley
From the University of Missouri Libraries:
As discussed in the fall, beginning Spring 2021, the University of Missouri Libraries implemented a reduction in collections expenditures after reviewing package agreements with our five largest publishers: Elsevier, Oxford, Sage, Springer and Wiley. Ultimately, we decided not to continue with the package agreements. Instead, we moved to a title-by-title model with these publishers, with the exception of Sage. Since Sage offered a cost-effective combination agreement, we were able to maintain access to the smaller subject collections and individual title subscriptions through that relationship.
