C-SPAN Video Library Provides Keyword Searchable Video of Presidential Inauguration
The Peabody award winning C-SPAN Video Library (free to access) provides keyword searchable transcript and video of today’s Presidential Inauguration.
At some point soon additional metadata should be added to enhance access.
The searchable transcript utilizes uncorrected closed captioning from the broadcast.
Finally, registered users (not required) can create custom, shareable video clips. You can learn more about this feature here.
As of today, the C-SPAN Video Library offers access to over 265,000 hours of searchable and streamable video (just about everything that has aired on C-SPAN), most of it keyword searchable.
