New Report: “Research 4.0: Research in the Age of Automation”
From Demos (UK Office):
Demos is currently investigating the potentially transformative impact of artificial intelligence, robotics, and other emerging technologies on the future of the research sector.
We are seeking to understand how these technologies are being used across research today, including highlighting the academics and researchers leading the way in the use of emerging automated research technologies. We will then try to forecast how different strands of these technologies could shape the research of the future, including economic and labour market modelling, and understand how they can be used in an ethical and socially responsible manner.
This project is supported by Jisc, a not-for-profit organisation who provide digital solutions for UK education and research.
