Sari Feldman, Executive Director of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, Announces Retirement

Cuyahoga County Public Library executive director Sari Feldman will retire Aug. 2 after transforming the award-winning system of 27 branches into community centers.

Feldman, who is originally from New York and earned her master’s of library sciences degree from the University of Wisconsin, once worked as deputy director for the Cleveland Public Library.
She served in 2015-2016 as the president of the American Library Association, the largest library association in the world. She previously led the Public Library Association, a subdivision of that group. She served as chair of the Cuyahoga County Arts & Culture Board and is vice-chair of Digital C, a nonprofit that looks to advance equitable access to technology in the community.
