Over the next few years there will be a far closer synergy between U.S. consumers owning home automation devices and those with digital assistants to control them. As consumers add more connected devices to their homes, the digital assistant becomes the natural, simpler interface to control them. In fact, device integration creates a compelling value proposition over hardwiring. It’s already addressing a burgeoning consumer need and driving technology market growth.
