Open Preservation Foundation (OPF) Publishes New Long-Term Strategy Document

The Open Preservation Foundation (OPF) has today published its new strategy, setting out the long-term direction for the organisation. The strategy establishes the OPF’s position in the digital preservation landscape and guides the tasks, tools, and projects that the Foundation will address.

New core values define the Foundation’s fundamental beliefs and how the organisation conducts itself. The strategy focuses on developing the OPF reference toolset and roadmaps for the open source digital preservation tools under its stewardship. It describes the activities to build on the Foundation’s best practice and knowledge sharing programme.
