The following presentation by Daniel Hartwig (Stanford University) was recorded on March 31, 2018 during the “The Future of the Past in the Digital Age, 2.0” event held at the at San Francisco Public Library.

Mass collection of personal digital archives can create ethical dilemmas when donor’s “deleted” emails and files become available to the public.
