This White Paper is being published by the NetInstitute for Sound and Vision as part of a new initiative to facilitate stakeholders large and small in the preservation of audiovisual heritage to take collective action in our fast-moving and increasingly strange world — a world where concerted efforts to preserve and share our information and knowledge are now more important than ever. This White Paper is one of the first steps thad and Vision is taking to establish a new international thought leadership group, a community of forward-looking thought leaders who will articulate an international research and action agenda — and certain funding priorities — for the audiovisual cultural heritage sector, broadly defined, over the next 10 years.
