The UK’s Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) Awards “One of the Largest Value Global Book Agreements for Higher Education Sector”

SUPC, with its English and Welsh Higher Education (HE) consortia partners, has recently awarded a national agreement for Books, eBooks, Standing Orders and Related Materials.
The agreement, which will run from 1 August 2017 – 31 July 2019, is one of the largest value global book agreements…

This new agreement delivers further savings to the HE sector, encourages suppliers to deliver the ebook requirements of institutions, and brings together all the ebook suppliers onto a standard ebook license.

The agreement has been awarded to 13 suppliers across the lots, and includes both new and well-established market leaders:

Sustainability is also an important part of this agreement with all suppliers assessed on sustainability practices and most offering re-use, recycling and disposal schemes.
