July 10, 2017 by Gary Price

From the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC):

SUPC, with its English and Welsh Higher Education (HE) consortia partners, has recently awarded a national agreement for Books, eBooks, Standing Orders and Related Materials.
The agreement, which will run from 1 August 2017 – 31 July 2019, is one of the largest value global book agreements…

This new agreement delivers further savings to the HE sector, encourages suppliers to deliver the ebook requirements of institutions, and brings together all the ebook suppliers onto a standard ebook license.
