These tables provide detailed data on graduate students and postdoctoral appointees in science, engineering, and selected health fields. Trend data are provided on graduate student enrollment and postdoctoral appointments, as well as counts of graduate students and postdoctoral appointees by sex, race and ethnicity, citizenship, field, and primary source and mechanism of support.
Data are from the Survey of Graduate Students and Postdoctorates in Science and Engineering: Fall 2015, conducted by the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics within the National Science Foundation.
