Pennsylvania: “Librarians Express Relief Over Gov. Tom Wolf’s State Budget”

Denise Sticha, administrator of the Berks County Library System, was prepared for bad news when Gov. Wolf unveiled his proposed budget for fiscal 2017-18.
“I thought we were going to get a funding cut,” Sticha said Tuesday.
To her surprise, the line item for public library funding in the proposed budget stayed the same as this year, just under $54.5 million
