Dayton, Ohio Will Be Home to U.S. Veterans Administration National Archives
From the Dayton Business Journal:
In a last move in office, the head of the VA has formally moved to locate the national VA Archives to the Dayton VA Medical Center.
Bob McDonald, the former Procter & Gamble CEO turned Secretary of Veterans Affairs, signed a memorandum of agreement to place the national Veterans Affairs National Archives at the Dayton VA, a project that will preserve and showcase photos, documents and artifacts about the history of the VA.

This marks the formal step in moving the project forward, after McDonald announced in April he would move to do so. Under the agreement, the VA will set up the VA History Office at the VA Department level with funding and a support team to help stand up the local center. Officials have been lobbying for some time to get a public component to the project as well, projected to require $20 million.
