Mississippi: Jackson Library Hours Reduced Due To City Budget Cuts

The Jackson Hinds Library System is shortening its hours at all 15 city libraries due to recent budget cuts.
The cuts were made last month to prepare for the fiscal year 2017 that just started October 1.
The reduced hours for Jackson libraries will start October 10.
The library system’s state-based Personnel Incentive Grant program was cut by $50,000, city officials said.
