Updated Data from NSF: Master Government List of Federally Funded R&D Centers

The recently updated master list of federally funded R&D centers (FFRDC) is published by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and is available as a hypertext document as well as a downloadable XLS file.

This resource is organized into the following sections:

  • General Notes
  • Historical Notes
  • Prior Lists

Changes from the previous edition are noted below; decertified, closed, or renamed FFRDCs are listed in “Historical Notes.”
