Canada: Vancouver Public Library to Begin Lending Musical Instruments
UPDATE June 8, 2016 Here’s the Formal Announcement and Additional Details about the VPL Music Instrument Lending Program

The Vancouver Public Library is starting a new project to provide musical instrument lending out of its downtown location.
The project is in partnership with Sun Life Financial and an official announcement will take place on Tuesday [June 7, 2016].
Sun Life spokesman Gannon Loftus said it’s the second city in Canada the company has helped launch an instrument lending program in.
Toronto’s Parkdale branch was the first — and Sun Life helped provide 100 instruments and $155,000 to the public library to help establish the program.
