Watch and Read: Acting Librarian of Congress Testifies Before U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee
Acting Librarian of Congress David Mao testified about LC’s FY 2017 budget request before the Legislative Branch Subcommittee, U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations yesterday.
A video of the hearing is now available online.
Also available is prepared testimony by Dr. Mao as well as an opening statement by Subcommittee Chairman, Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV).
The U.S. Copyright Office is a part of LC and the United States Register of Copyrights Maria A. Pallante is scheduled to attend the hearing.
Pallante has also submitted a written statement that’s now available online. It’s titled, Fiscal 2017 Budget Request for the U.S. Copyright Office.
