Reference: Four Updated U.S. Health Indicators Featured in New NCHS Brief
The new data brief/infographic was made available today by the National Center for Health Statistics at the Center for Disease Control.
Health, United States Spotlights are infographics of selected health data available in Health, United States, the annual report on the health of the nation submitted by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services to the President and Congress.
The Winter 2016 infographic features updates on four important indicators from the Health, United States report: the prevalence of cigarette smoking among adults, the highest and lowest state nursing home occupancy rates, emergency department utilization, and the percentage of Americans without health insurance coverage.
