Minnesota: City of Minneapolis Begins Sharing Digitized Historic Images From Minneapolis Archives on Flickr
The City of Minneapolis is making hundreds of historic images and archives available for online viewing – with some pictures dating back to the 1800s.
Historic images and materials from the Minneapolis Archives collections are now available on the Minneapolis Archives Flickr page. Pictures include various construction projects, blueprints, aerial views, various safety demonstrations and more.
From the City of Minneapolis:
The page will be updated regularly with new images and archives as the Clerk’s Office continues to assess and digitize its archival holdings.
Visitors to the page are encouraged to comment and add any historical knowledge they may have related to the images to better identify the materials posted and provide any historical context.
