The 2015 National Medal for Museum and Library Service award ceremony took place today in Washington DC.
The recipients were first announced by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) on April 21st.
The National Medal for Museum and Library Service is the highest museum and library honor awarded in the U.S.
What follows is a video about the award itself along with videos about each of the 2015 recipients. Each of these videos feature a member of the library’s or museum’s user community.
