Directory of Open Access Books Passes 2500 Titles & Partners, Adds Books From SciELO
From the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) Newsletter:
1. In the first week of 2015, we passed the number of 2500 books in DOAB. As this number increases steadily, there are currently 2761 books indexed in DOAB.
2. SciELO – The Scientific Electronic Library Online – accounts for twelve Brazilian academic publishers and nearly 300 new titles in DOAB!
SciELO is an electronic library covering a selected collection of Brazilian scientific journals. Its book division, the SciELO Books Portal publishes national and thematic collections of academic books online aiming to maximise the visibility, accessibility, use, and impact of research. All books published through SciELO are subjected to a rigorous peer review process.
