Last Wednesday (January 7, 2015), Dan Cohen spoke at the San Francisco Public Library and a video of his presentation is now available online.

Here’s a blurb about the presentation as seen on Facebook and YouTube:

The Marjorie G. and Carl W. Stern Book Arts & Special Collections Center and the San Francisco History Center present Dan Cohen, Executive Director of the Digital Public Library of America. Cohen will speak about this exciting new national project for our annual Holiday Lecture. He will address how Special Collections are able to share their collections more widely through DPLA.

On a related note, the DPLA released their 2015-2017 strategic plan last week.
