Wikipedia Begins Beta Testing of “Other Projects Sidebar” & Adds Search Syntax
A couple of items we discovered via the latest edition of the Wikimedia Engineering Report (September 1, 2014).
1. You can now opt-in and participate in a beta test of the “Other Projects Sidebar” with links provided by WikiData.
From a Wikimedia Mailing List:
[Opting-in] will add a new section to the sidebar of an article. This section will contain links to related articles in other sister projects. Which projects are shown can be configured per-wiki.
It works only on projects supported by Wikidata. It is already deployed as a default feature for all users in the French and Italian Wikisources (e.g. s:fr:Auteur:William Shakespeare).

keyword in your search (using CirrusSearch beta) to find pages linking to a specific Wikipedia article.
