Dempsey’s writing, presentations, and viewpoints are 100% worthy of your attention. He is a very important voice in librarianship and info science.

An OCLC announcement says it better:

Throughout his career, Lorcan’s work has influenced library innovation, research and policy development.

We do our best to pass many of his presentations/article along when they’re made available here on infoDOCKET.

Dempsey also leads a superb team at OCLC Research who do important and interesting work. Much of the work that these researchers produce is made available online.

Along with an constant stream of articles and presentations some tools and ideas being developed by OCLC Research can be demonstrated online via ResearchWorks (a site we visit often).
