Making Sense of Data: A New Self-Paced Online Class From Google Begins in March
Google’s “Making Sense of Data” self-paced class is scheduled to run from March 18 – April 4, 2014 and students . There is no charge to register and participate.
Googler’s Amit Deutsch and Joe Hellerstein will introduce students to Fusion Tables.
What’s Required? From the FAQ:
- Internet Accessible Computer
- A Google Account
- “Basic familiarity with spreadsheets and comfort using a web browser is recommended.”
- “Knowledge of statistics and experience with programming are not required.”
- Prior knowledge of Fusion Tables is not a requirement
and should take 10-15 hours to complete.
