Note: infoDOCKET has a worldwide readership who search in many languages. We do our best to provide a selection of news around the world including stories like the one below that illustrate national libraries from various countries working together to improve linking/access to their materials.
From the National Diet Library (Japan):
On the basis of the China-Japan-Korea Digital Library Initiative (CJKDLI) agreement, the NDL is engaged in integration of the information services (portal) of the three national libraries. The dynamic link between the NDL Search by NDL and the Dibrary by the National Library of Korea is available now.
The CJKDLI is moving from the first stage of linking the search services of the three countries to the second stage of providing an integrated information service (portal) taking in light of the Asian area.
