Fast Facts and Stats: Manufacturing in the U.S., a New Infographic from the U.S. Census
From the Census:
With almost 300,000 establishments and 11 million employees, manufacturing plays a major role in the nation’s economy. A new U.S. Census Bureau infographic, “Manufacturing in America,” focuses on the scope of manufacturing, its importance as a major employer and its concentrations throughout the country. The infographic highlights a wide range of statistics from sources such as County Business Patterns and Annual Survey of Manufactures. The most recent year’s data from some of these programs are highlighted.
