Arkansas: eCigarettes Banned At Fort Smith Public Library

“The policy as it stands now just says smoking is not allowed in the library,” Library Director Jennifer Goodson told the board, which approved both the ecigarette and smokeless tobacco bans unanimously.
Goodson said she specifically recommended the electronic cigarette ban due to the product’s growing popularity and availability.

Other libraries that have recently prohibited electronic cigarettes include the Rogers Public Library, Wichita Public Library in Kansas and Jefferson County Public Library in Missouri.
Included in Tuesday’s ban was smokeless tobacco.
