Reference: Complete List of New Words Added to Oxford English Dictionary (September 2013 Quarterly Release)
A few weeks ago many sites and sources reported that the Oxford Dictionary had just added new words.
However, many of the articles we saw were not clear. The additions were to Oxford Dictionaries Online (ODO) and NOT the Oxford English Dictionary (OED). Two different resources from the same publisher. More in this post where we include a link to a chart that helps explain the differences between the two reference resources.
Now, OED has released an update.
