Reference Librarian Named in Sports Illustrated Expose About Oklahoma St. University Football Program Speaks Out, Refutes Claims
The reference librarian at the center of the latest Sport Illustrated expose on Oklahoma State University is speaking out.
Ronald Keys is accused in the latest article of writing papers for players while working the reference desk at the university library.
Keys said he wasn’t doing anything for the athletes that he wouldn’t have done for any other student.
“Did they come over to the library? Yes. Did I show them how to use the database? Yes. Did I show them how to use Microsoft Word and other software available to them to write better papers? Yes. Did I write the papers for them? No,” Keys said.
