New Online Resource (Free): Digital Preservation Business Case Toolkit
Word of a new online resource released today.
From the LIBER (Association of European Research Libraries):
Do you need to write a business case for a digital preservation initiative? A new toolkit may help. It provides a step-by-step guide to the writing process, including templates, case studies and other resources.
The Digital Preservation Business Case Toolkit is freely available online. It was created by the Jisc funded SPRUCE project, with collaboration from LIBER and other digital preservation experts.
From the Toolkit:
“The need to assess the current fragmentation of roles and responsibilities of the key stakeholders, as well as approaching their needs, has generated the need to provide multidimensional and persuasive business cases that represent and show why each of the stakeholders should participate under a common strategy for building a shared understanding of the Digital Preservation value.”
