Chicago Public Library Receives $1 Million Grant From Gates Foundation

Mayor Emanuel has announced a $1 million grant from the Gates Foundation which is designed to help move the Chicago Public Library into the future with more technology.

The money will fund an innovative program in which the library system will partner with libraries in Denmark, to experiment with technologies like 3-D software and 3-D printing.
