Ohio: Former Cuyahoga Falls Library Official Charged With Embezzling $350,000

The Cuyahoga Falls Library’s former deputy fiscal officer is accused of embezzling nearly $350,000.
Theresa M. Karm, 54, of Tallmadge, made an initial appearance before Stow Municipal Court Judge Kim Hoover on one count each of theft and theft in office.
Both are felonies of the third degree.
If convicted, Karm could serve up to 18 months in prison on each charge.[Clip]Library Director Kevin Rosswurm said via email that he can say little about the situation because of the pending criminal charges.
Rosswurm said Karm was fired from her job March 13.
