ebrary Releases German Language eBook Database for Academic Libraries; EBL Also Adds More German Language Titles

ebrary (a ProQuest company) today announced a new German-language e-book subscription database for academic libraries. The ebrary Deutsche Sammlung collection includes STM, humanities and arts disciplines – and features more than 4,500 titles from publishers such as De Gruyter, Aarhus University Press, International Monetary Fund, Ohne Verlag, Frank & Timme GmbH. The collection can be subscribed to on its own, or in conjunction with the Academic Complete™ collection.

Last week EBL (Ebook Library) announced in a blog post that they are adding more German language content.
EBL now has nearly 26,000 German language titles, from 65 publishers.
In February alone we added 5,716 new German titles – 2,400 from the publisher Springer Fachmedien, and a large number of titles from Walter de Gruyter and Peter Lang also went live.

In January, ProQuest announced they were acquiring EBL.
