Space-Saver Shelving Coming Soon: The Library of Congress Awards $128,000 Contract to Move Some of Its Image Collection
The contract award for $128,791.50 goes to Kane Office Archives of Elkridge, MD who will provide:
Equipment, materials and skilled labor to pack and move image collections (including disassembling and re-assembling shelving as needed).
Why the Move?
LC is adding space-saver shelving and the material needs to be moved so installation can go forward in Vaults 1118, 1103, and Room 1111.
