Queens Library First NY Public Library System Library to Lend Out Preloaded E-Readers (Pilot Project)

The Queens Library is becoming the first library in the New York public library system to lend e-readers.
Under the pilot program, 50 Nooks will be available for check out at the library’s Central Library in Jamaica, starting on Thursday.

UPDATE 2: The ereaders are locked down and no additional content (including e-books from the Queens Library digital collection (via OverDrive) can be added to the device.
