OCLC Research Library Partnership Posts Membership Facts and Stats
In a new post on the HangingTogether Blog from OCLC Research titled, “A little about the OCLC Research Library Partnership”, Nancy Elkington (Director of Partner Relations) shares some updated statistics about the group.
As of September 1st, there are 153 institutions who have joined the Partnership. Of these, 105 (or 66%) were part of the “old” RLG Partnership. 11 institutions who had been affiliated with RLG rejoined. What was most surprising (delightfully so) is that 41 institutions who had never been affiliated decided to join.
The post continues with a look at membership by location, affiliation with other library organizations, and a link to a complete membership roster.
