Acquisitions: Bloomberg is Buying BNA for $990 Million
From the Washington Biz Journal:
Bloomberg LP has agreed to acquire Arlington-based research and analysis reports publisher BNA in a deal worth $990 million.
BNA is owned by current and former employees. Bloomberg will acquire all outstanding shares of BNA for $39.50 per share in cash. The acquisition is expected to close this year, Bloomberg said.
The acquisition will significantly grow Bloomberg’s presence in Washington, whose Bloomberg News, Bloomberg Government and Bloomberg Law divisions already have a presence here.
