Reference: Detailed Maps of 400 U.S. Shopping Malls Now Available on Bing Mobile and Desktop
Last December, Bing began adding store-by-store maps of shopping malls around the U.S. available to their desktop search product via Bing Maps.
Today, maps for more than 400 malls are available and the other day we learned that shopping mall maps are now accessible on Bing Mobile (m.bing.com).
This Bing Blog post has directions on how to quickly access the maps. Btw, you can also click on the name of any store found on a desktop map to get a telephone number to that specific store location.
The blog post also points out that not only are the mobile mall maps new but they’re also searchable. In other words, you can search only the map to quickly find where in the mall a particular store, restaurant, etc. is located.
Here are Three Examples of Bing Mall Maps:
- Woodfield Mall (Schaumburg, Il)
- Mall of America (Bloomington, MN)
- Village At Corte Madera (Corte Madera, CA)
