Just in Time For SLA 2011, SEPTA (Public Transit For Philly Metro) Launches TransitView With Real Time Transit Info
TransitView went live last week and provides real time and scheduled transport data for buses and street cars.
TransitView also includes a link to TrainView for regional rail info.
Customers without smart phones can request schedule information — but not real-time locations — via text message. According to The Inquirer, the text-based service is not available for T-Mobile or Sprint customers who make up about 25% of the Philadelphia-area market.
