Government: U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means Launches iPhone/Pad/Touch App

From the App Store Info Page:

The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means Official App will keep you informed of all his most recent news, opinion editorials and floor statements.

It will also give you on-the-go access to the social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and Youtube.

Additional features include:

– Subcommittee information and membership
– Direct email alerts sign up
– Access to The Tax Tracker
– Access to The Prescription Pad
– Address, phone number and directions to the Ways and Means Committee Offices

The app is a free download.

Question: Is this the first “official” app from the U.S. Congress?
