Everyday Google makes a bunch of announcements about new or improved services. Trying to keep up with all of them is nearly a full-time job. So, we’ve selected seven that might be of interest from the past couple of weeks and posted them below. Enjoy!
+ “New: Google Lets You Block Any Site From Search Results” (by Barry Schwartz, Search Engine Land)
Note: This feature was first announced last month but only worked with Chrome and required an extension. It will now work with IE 8+, Firefox 3.5+, and Chrome 9+. Btw, this is yet another variable as to why the results you find might be different than those of user, friend, or colleague.
