From Today’s Announcement:
BiblioCommons is pleased to announce a new partnership with the San Diego Public Library to implement BiblioCore, the integrated public library catalog.

BiblioCore works with all major ILS platforms and replaces the traditional patron catalog while encouraging community engagement around the collection, promoting the expertise of librarians as readers’ advisory and reference specialists, and setting a new bar for exceptional online patron experiences.
The BiblioCore catalog is planned to be live with San Diego Public Library by the end of the year.
Other library systems using BiblioCommons technology include:
- Columbus Metropolitan Library
- Chicago Public Library
- New York Public Library
- King County Library System
- San Francisco Public Library
- Seattle Public Library
Earlier this year BiblioCommons announced they are working with the Society of Chief Librarians in the UK to develop a unified library platform for all public libraries.
