Penguin Random House Announces Extension of Special Library Terms of Sale Program in Response to COVID-19
From a Letter by Skip Dye, SVP, Library Sales and Digital Strategy & SVP, Sales Operations, Penguin Random House to Partners:
I hope that you and yours are well.
With the uncertainty of what this upcoming school year will bring – either home-learning, in-classroom or a combination of both – and the pressures that our library partners are facing with closures, modified openings and budget constraints, we are extending our Temporary Library Terms of Sale: Special Program in Response to Covid-19 until Dec 31st 2020.
It is clear that this extension is necessary to assist in meeting the needs of patrons and home-bound school kids. In my June 15th note below, I mentioned that it is important to have the ability to plan and by announcing this extension now we are hoping that this can give librarians and educators a sense of relief.
I truly appreciate your support and input. Please continue to work directly with your sales rep if you have any questions.
