Video: Rep. Ann McLane Kuster (D-NH) Meets with Members of the New Hampshire Library Association
From Rep. McLane Kuster:
Yesterday [, Rep. Annie Kuster (NH-02) met virtually with librarians from the New Hampshire Library Association to discuss the impact of the American Rescue Plan, support for ongoing community efforts as New Hampshire recovers from the pandemic, expanding access to high-speed broadband, bolstering workforce development, and improving access to quality, affordable healthcare.
“Our public libraries in District 2 appreciated having time to speak to the Congresswoman on issues such as broadband, workforce development, and community infrastructure,” said Michael York, NH State Librarian. “We thank her for her unwavering support of the important work of our libraries in those communities through federal initiatives such as the Library Services & Technology Act funds, the CARES and ARPA funds, and the Build America’s Libraries Act. She is always there when we need her. We hope to schedule library visits for the Congresswoman when we are all able to get together safely.”
