UMass Amherst Libraries: “Possible Disruptions Due to Staff Furloughs Through December 31, 2020”
From a UMass Amherst Libraries Announcement:
Between September 21 and December 31, UMass Amherst Libraries staff will be required to take two five-day furloughs. We are working on plans to minimize any disruptions, but some reduction in service levels is unavoidable, during this period and for some time following. Responses to inquiries will likely take longer than usual. We will provide additional updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Gary Price (gprice@gmail.com) is a librarian, writer, consultant, and frequent conference speaker based in the Washington D.C. metro area. He earned his MLIS degree from Wayne State University in Detroit.
